Welcome to the internet home of the Law Office of Uzo Akpele. 

I represent clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (formerly INS).  I provide my clients with advice and guidance relating to obtaining visas to enable them to legally live and work in the United States.  I also assist those who become eligible to naturalize as citizens of the United States.  

Since immigration law is purely federal law, I am able to assist clients, no matter where they are located in the United States.  I also assist clients  who have to, or who have chosen to process their visas outside the United States. 

In addition, I assist clients who live in the State of Georgia in completing adoption of children in the Superior Court system. 

As a lawyer, my goal is to provide quality representation to my clients.  It is most important to me that my clients feel that their needs are well-understood and are being met.  Courtesy and prompt response to my clients' needs are a by-word. 

Each client's case is properly researched to make sure that the client obtains the most appropriate immigration benefit and process.  I work diligently to prepare filings in a timely manner.  My clients are kept up-to-date with their cases.   When interview time comes around, I make sure my clients are well-prepared and accompany them to their interview.

My office is located in the Buckhead business district with easy access to MARTA bus and rail services.
