Jillian L. DiLaura was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2006. She received her J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia in 2006. She received her B.A. in history and Women's Studies, cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts in 2003.

Jillian served as the judicial clerk for the Honorable John H. Tisdale in the Circuit Court for Frederick County from 2006-2007. She is a member of the Montgomery and Frederick County Bar Associations, the Maryland State Bar Association, the National Association of Women Lawyers, and was a member of the Montgomery County Inns of Court from 2007-2008. She was a recipient of the NAWL Award in 2006, given to an outstanding woman law student.   Jillian has been appointed by the Court to represent minor children in custody and visitation matters, having completed the necessary training required in Maryland for such representation.

During law school, Jillian served as the Case Notes Editor on the Washington & Lee Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice and was the co-president of the Women's Law Students Organization. She also represented victims of domestic violence and underprivileged clients at the Community Legal Practice Center. She currently volunteers as a youth soccer coach and serves as the Director of the Grant Writing Committee for St. Mary's School in Rockville.
