Adam A. Edwards, a native a Knoxville Tennessee, received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Tennessee in 1997. While attending UT, Mr. Edwards was elected as the president of his fraternity served as a field office intern for United States Senator Bill Frist. In the fall of 1996 he was awarded the D. Howard Doane award for outstanding service.
In the fall of 1997, Mr. Edwards was accepted at the Washburn University School of Law in Kansas. He was awarded an academic scholarship, and served on the Moot Court Counsel on Appellate Advocacy. In the spring of 1999, Mr. Edwards was elected President of the Moot Court and served as the captain of the Washburn Law National Team.
During his time at Washburn Law, Mr. Edwards received a number of honors including election to the Order of Barristers for outstanding achievement in oral advocacy. He was also awarded the designation as a member as the Who's who among American Law Students. He received his Juris Doctor in 2000 with the Dean's Honors.
Immediately after graduation, Mr. Edwards accepted a position as Associate Attorney with the firm of Blackwell Sanders firm in Kansas City, Missouri. While at the prestigious Blackwell firm, Mr. Edwards successfully represented wide range of clients including, including Hallmark, Heartland Hospital, Hy-Vee Food Stores and various syndicates of Lloyds of London.
In 2004, Mr. Edwards made the decision to return home to Knoxville and joined the firm of Dunn, McDonald Coleman and Reynolds. While at DMCR the relationship was formed with attorney Greg Coleman that eventually led to the creation of Coleman and Edwards P.C.
With years of experience in the state and federal courts of Tennessee, Kansas and Missouri, Mr. Edwards now uses that experience to fight for the rights of those who been the unfortunate victims of serious personal injuries. His practice includes all aspects of personal injury litigation including serious automobile and trucking accidents, medical malpractice, dangerous products, premises liability and workers' compensation claims.
